Leaving behind the town of Borgarnes, your first destination will be the enchanting Reykholtsdalur Valley. This interesting location showcases the immense power of geothermal forces that have shaped Iceland over the centuries. Prepare to be amazed by Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring, as it releases its boiling waters, demonstrating the raw energy that resides beneath the surface. 

Continuing your journey, you'll arrive in the village of Reykholt, which holds a significant place in Icelandic history. This was the home of Snorri Sturluson, a renowned poet, historian, and law speaker who lived during the Middle Ages. You will also make a stop at two incredible waterfalls: Barnafoss and Hraunfossar. Hraunfossar is a mesmerizing natural wonder where pristine water trickles and cascades through porous lava rocks, creating a spectacular display of nature's artistry. Nearby, Barnafoss cuts its way through a narrow gorge, offering a breathtaking sight that leaves a lasting impression.

Your tour then ends as you arrive in Reykjavik in the late afternoon. It is not recommended that you plan to fly home the same evening, as delays and bad weather could possibly affect your journey.
