About Laugarfell

Laugarfell is a mountain in the Icelandic Highlands. Hiking paths and amazing landscapes, uncrowded by tourists, surround it. Also, it's the name of a hostel with two hot springs near the mountain's peak.

Travelers who want to experience the wilderness of the Icelandic Highlands while near a comfortable place should best take advantage of Laugarfell's location, accommodation, and hot springs.

Laugarfell means "pool mountain," thus, while the mountain itself is stunning, the place's main draw is its two hot springs. The fantastic experience of dipping into the Laugarfell hot springs after a long and scenic hike makes relaxing at this beautiful mountain lodge perfect.
