Description

Discover the stunning South Coast of Iceland under a snowy blanket from the comfort of a minivan. This tour is perfect for those who wish to see some of the most popular attractions in Iceland but don't want to worry about driving.

You will be picked up in Reykjavík early in the morning. During your ride over the mountains towards the southern part of Iceland, the sun will slowly start to rise. Sitting comfortably in your car you can listen to many interesting stories your friendly guides will tell about Iceland.

Your first stop will be in Hvolsvöllur where you can grab a morning coffee, something to bite and stretch your legs after the drive so far. Soon afterwards you will visit two of the most iconic Icelandic waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss.

You can expect both to be covered in snow and ice contrasting wonderfully with the surrounding black rocks. It's possible to get quite close to both waterfalls but be careful as it will most likely be it might be very slippery.

After a short drive, you will come to Reynisfjara. This unique black sand beach was named one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Soon you will know why!  Watch as the roaring waves crash into the shore and admire the basalt columns rising high to the sky creating a strikingly unique scenery.

Take a walk along the coast to get some alone time, marvel at the dramatic and defiant Reynisdrangar sea stacks or pose in front of basalt columns for amazing photos!

The last stop of the day will be in the charming village of Vík. Here you can have lunch and buy some souvenirs. It's also recommended that you walk close to the ocean to have a look at the Reynisdrangar sea stacks from a different perspective. The beach in Vík is a beautiful place with far fewer people visiting it than Reynisfjara.

On your way back to Reykjavik, if there's time, there might be a stop near Sólheimajökull glacier so you can admire the glacier close-up.

Book a day tour to remember and embrace Iceland's gorgeous Soth Coast without having to worry about driving. Check availability by choosing a date.
