Day 1

Day 1 - South Coast Waterfalls & Glacier Hike

Day 2 - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & Skaftafell National park

Today’s adventure focuses on the majestic glaciers and lagoons of Iceland. The day begins with a drive to the picturesque village of Vik, where you’ll make a short stop to enjoy its beautiful surroundings.

Along the way, you’ll pause at Foss a Sidu Waterfall, which cascades down a basalt cliff. Dropping approximately 98 feet (30 meters), this site features an ever-changing flow. At times, strong winds push the water upward, creating an illusion of defying gravity.

Next, you’ll stop at Skaftafell National Park, a beautiful area known for its glaciers, green valleys, and scenic trails. It’s also a great spot to take a lunch break before continuing your adventure.

From there, you’ll make your way to the world-famous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on Earth. At the lagoon, you’ll witness massive icebergs that have broken off from the Breidamerkurjokull Glacier, floating serenely in the glacial meltwater before drifting out to sea.

Some of these icebergs wash up on the nearby Diamond Beach, where they sparkle like diamonds against the dark volcanic sand.
