Description

Explore South Iceland's most famous sites on this private 10-hour sightseeing adventure. You can even personalize your tour to visit more places! If you want to see the captivating Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara black-sand beach, and more, this tour is definitely for you.

Your excursion starts at your hotel in Reykjavik, where your driver will pick you up at your preferred time between 08:00 to 10:00. The driver is also your guide and will brief you about the trip.

This is a 10-hour tour, and there will be a lunch stop.

Don't forget to keep your camera handy, too, as you will take many stunning photos on this journey!

Once you're set, you'll begin your drive toward the South Coast, your destination for this tour.

Your first stop is the spectacular Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Set against the green cliffs of Iceland, Seljalandsfoss has an open cave behind it, which you can visit by walking around the waterfall through an easily accessible trail.

You'll get a bit wet from the waterfall, so wear a rain-resistant layer. The path is also quite slippery, so be mindful of your steps and wear appropriate shoes.

Next is the famous Skogafoss waterfall. This wondrous beauty is one of Iceland's most spectacular waterfalls. It's so powerful you'll surely get drenched if you go near it!

Legend has it that the waterfall hides a treasure behind its cave. Whether the stories are true or not, just witnessing the mighty Skogafoss with its cascading water and beautiful rainbow on a sunny day is enough.

After admiring Skogafoss, your tour guide will take you to one of Iceland's renowned spots, the Reynisfjara black sand beach. Be amazed by this beach's otherwordly features, such as the ethereal black sand, giant sea stacks, and incredible basalt columns.

Take as many photos as you want, but remember never to turn your back on the ocean, as waves come without warning and can be extremely dangerous.

From the black shoreline of Reynisfjara, you'll drive toward one of the most picturesque spots in Iceland, the Dyrholaey Peninsula. Here you'll see an impressive coastline with staggering cliffs teeming with birdlife.

The day's final stop is the Solheimajokull glacier, where you'll admire the mesmerizing contrast of white ice against the black volcanic terrain.

These are some of the most iconic places on Iceland's South Coast, but if you want to add an extra stop or change the order, you can contact the company ahead of time.

Your guide will take you back to your hotel after completing all your tour stops.

Don't miss this chance to explore the finest spots on the South Coast. Check availability now by choosing a date.
