Northern Lights by Boat with a Backup Activity: Whale Museum Visit

If the sky is clear and the forecast good, you’ll board a ship at the same harbour, and set off onto Faxaflói Bay. As the sky darkens, you’ll keep your eyes peeled for any sign of the incredible, ethereal aurora borealis.

When they start to descend, you’ll be in awe of their surreal beauty. Greens, purples, and a range of other colours swirl and dance amongst a canopy of stars like something from another world.
