Comfortable 4 Hour Northern Lights Hunt in a Super Jeep with Transfer from Reykjavik

The tour starts with a pick up from your selected pick up location, where the guide will arrive in a modified 4x4 super jeep. After the pick-up in Reykjavík has been finished, the guide will make one short stop for a bathroom/snack pit-stop before we head out to hunt for the Northern Lights.

On the hunt for the Northern Lights, you will travel through great natural sights by night time with an informative guide. The super jeep gives us the flexibility to go off the beaten path and reach places where big buses can not reach. This gives us a better chance to enjoy the hunt without the discomfort of big crowds.

Depending on the forecast every day, the specialist guide will head out to a location showing the best forecast each day. We keep a close track on the aurora forecast, and due to the ever-changing phenomenon, we can not guarantee a specific location. The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, is a truly mesmerizing sight. Dancing colours and shapes, lighting up the dark northern sky is something you don't come across often in your lifetime. Many travellers say that watching the Northern Lights is the highlight of their trip to Iceland, so it's an experience not to be missed.

During the tour, you will be offered hot chocolate and biscuits to keep warm, and for those wanting a taste of the Icelandic culture, we will offer to add Icelandic Brennivín to their hot chocolate (20+).

Included in the tour are free photos, which will be captured on camera when the Northern Lights are spotted. The images from the trips can be accessed online after the tour, and you can be sure to bring this great memory back home with you!
