Magic Ice Bar and Gallery is a venue that is almost entirely made of ice. Over 60 tons of ice cover every surface of this exceptional venue, except the floors, ceiling, and doors. It took 10 experienced artisans over 8 months to create this masterpiece on Reykjavik's main street.

When you enter the venue, you will be greeted by friendly staff and given a poncho and gloves, which are both included in the entrance package. You will then cross the threshold into an arctic wonder that will excite your senses. 

The walls are covered in magnificent ice carvings. These carvings tell the story of the Norwegian Viking sailors who made their way over the rough Atlantic seas long ago to start a new life in the land of fire and ice. You will see stories of the sagas filled with adventure and myth.

Ice sculptures are also highlighted in the gallery, each one intricate and stunning. They are beautiful to admire up close and an excellent backdrop or companion in photos.

To top off the 30-minute experience, you will be given the Magic Ice Bar's signature drink, an Arctic Crowberry in a glass made of ice. You will be able to sip on this locally sourced beverage as you explore the intricate stories formed in ice all around you.
