For the third stop on the tour, you will head to one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls, the rainbow-ridged Gullfoss. Gullfoss is located in an ancient valley where the waterfall cascades down an overall height of 32 metres (105 ft). Gulfoss flows at its heaviest in the height of summer with an average of 140 cubic metres (4944 cubic feet) per second. The waters of Gullfoss come from Langjokull Glacier and travel through the Hvita River.

On your way back to Reykjavik you will have the option to stop at Kerid, a volcanic crated formed about 6500 years ago. This crater is completely oval and has a lake at the bottom. The colours of Kerid range from the fiery reds and oranges of the rocks; to the azure blue of its water.
