You will land at Keflavik International Airport. Once you've collected your luggage and cleared passport control, head outside, where your transfer will await you. You will be driven to your accommodation in Reykjavik, where you will stay for the next four nights.
The drive from the airport to Reykjavik is a fantastic introduction to the country as you will drive through the spectacular Reykjanes peninsula and its moss-covered lava fields.
If you arrive in Iceland early, you may add the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa to your itinerary. This excursion is an optional tour at an additional cost.
The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is one of the most famous attractions in Iceland and boasts mineral-rich waters that are thought to have healing properties. It's the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling, surrounded by lava fields and volcanic rock formations.
If there isn't time to visit the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa today, your travel agent can add it to your departure day instead.
Once you've finished your relaxation, you'll be driven to Reykjavik. Reykjavik, Iceland's vibrant capital, offers activities to suit everyone. Begin by exploring the iconic Hallgrimskirkja church and enjoying panoramic views from its tower.
Stroll along the lively Laugavegur shopping street, filled with boutiques, cafes, and street art. Dive into Iceland's rich culture at the National Museum and the Harpa Concert Hall.

On the second day of your vacation package in Iceland, you can choose which tours you'd like to do. If it's your first time in Iceland, you should do the Golden Circle tour to see some of Iceland's most famous attractions.
The Thingvellir National Park is the first stop on the Golden Circle sightseeing route. This UNESCO World Heritage site is where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, creating dramatic rifts and canyons.
The Thingvellir National Park is also culturally significant as the historic site of Iceland's first parliament, Althingi, which convened here in 930 AD.
Next, you'll visit the Geysir geothermal area in the Haukadalur Valley. The site is named after Geysir, the first known geyser in the world which is no longer active.
The Strokkur geyser erupts every 5-10 minutes, spraying boiling water and steam up to 100 feet (30 meters) high.
The landscape is a surreal blend of colorful mineral deposits, bubbling mud pots, and steaming vents against Iceland's rugged terrain.
The last stop on the Golden Circle sightseeing route is the Gullfoss waterfall. Gullfoss waterfall is a two-tiered waterfall on the Hvita River. Known as the "Golden Falls," it plunges into a deep canyon, generating powerful mist and rainbows on sunny days.
If you didn't get a chance to visit the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa on your first day, you may wish to see another spa instead. Try the Sky Lagoon geothermal spa or the Hvammsvik Nature Baths.
Other options for today include a helicopter tour, a hop-on-hop-off bus tour of Reykjavik, and a whale-watching tour.
In the evening, you can take a northern lights hunting tour where you'll get the chance to see the aurora borealis. You can choose from a bus, boat, or super jeep tour.
All these tours will be led by expert guides who will take you away from the city's light pollution to the best places to see the northern lights.
You'll spend tonight at your accommodation in Reykjavik.

On the third day of your vacation package in Iceland, you can visit the South Coast on a guided tour. If you have not seen them, you can also take a northern lights tour this evening.
Iceland's South Coast is a stunning and diverse region known for its striking landscapes and natural wonders.
Along this route, you'll see dramatic black-sand beaches like Reynisfjara. Volcanic activity created its sands, contrasting with the white waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Reynisdrangar basalt columns can be seen offshore. The beach is beautiful, but it's also known for its unpredictable and powerful waves, earning it a reputation for being dangerous for swimming. Further east, you'll find the charming village of Vik.
With a backdrop of rugged cliffs and dramatic basalt columns, Vik is beautiful. It has cozy guesthouses, cafes, and a church atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the surroundings. You'll discover Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls.
Seljalandsfoss waterfall is known for its unique feature: visitors can walk behind the cascading water curtain and witness a different perspective of the surrounding landscape.
Skogafoss waterfall plunges dramatically from a cliff, creating a powerful spray and often producing vivid rainbows.
One of the most stunning stops on the South Coast tour is the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. It is a glacial lake where icebergs from the Vatnajokull glacier float. It's also home to seal colonies.
You could also explore more of Reykjavik today with the 24-hour city card, which gives you access to some of the city's best attractions. Food or beer walking tours and a hop-on-hop-off sightseeing bus are also options.
This evening, you can do a northern lights tour. Choose whether to take a bus, boat, or ATV tour. Although the aurora borealis is a natural phenomenon and seeing them is not guaranteed, your guide will know where the chances of seeing them are best.
After a great day of exploring, you'll return to your accommodation in Reykjavik.

The fourth day of your vacation in Iceland is your last full day there. Today, you can take a tour of the Snaefellsnes peninsula.
Other options for today include a whale-watching tour, a helicopter tour, or exploring more of Reykjavik if you still need to.
The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is often called "Iceland in Miniature" as it has all the natural features that Iceland is famous for in a small area.
Jutting into the North Atlantic Ocean, this remote region boasts dramatic landscapes, rugged coastlines, black sand beaches, and charming fishing villages.
Snaefellsjokull volcano is a stratovolcano and the main feature of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Often called the "Jewel of West Iceland," it's renowned for its beauty and cultural significance.
The glacier-capped peak dominates the peninsula's landscape at around 4,744 feet (1,446 meters) above sea level.
This volcano gained fame as the starting point for Jules Verne's novel "Journey to the Center of the Earth." Snaefellsjokull volcano is believed to possess mystical and healing properties, drawing visitors seeking spiritual experiences.
Arnarstapi is another stop on the South Coast tour. Nestled beneath dramatic cliffs, it's known for its stunning natural beauty and rich history. Visitors can explore rugged lava formations, including the famous Gatklettur arch, which offers panoramic ocean views.
The village is a birdwatcher's paradise, with seabird colonies inhabiting its cliffs. Arnarstapi also boasts a historic harbor and a striking sculpture dedicated to Bardur Snaefellsas, a mythical protector of the peninsula.
Another option for today is to take a whale-watching tour. You'll take a boat trip into the cold waters of the North Atlantic Ocean, where you may see whale species such as humpback, minke, and blue whales. You might even see orcas and dolphins.
The country's nutrient-rich seas make it a prime location for whale sightings, and your expert guide will offer insights into these creatures' behavior and biology. You can take a northern lights hunting tour in the evening in a bus, boat, or super jeep.
Tonight, you'll spend your last night in your accommodation in Reykjavik.
