Thrilling 2 Hour Whale Watching Tour on a RIB Speedboat from Reykjavik

The animals that you can hope to see on this tour are numerous and plentiful. For up to an hour and a half, you will zip across the bay, getting much closer to the animals than the larger whale-watch boats. To keep the experience as comfortable as it is exciting, you will be equipped with waterproof overalls, a life jacket and goggles.

Even while you are waiting for sightings, riding a RIB speedboat is a great experience, as it is able to achieve adrenaline-pumping speed. The surrounding nature will also be spectacular in clear weather; you’ll have great views of the capital, Hvalfjörður (also called ‘Whale Fjord’), the Reykjanes Peninsula and even the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
