Day 1 - Exploring the Highlands with Buggy Vehicles
On the first day of this multi-day buggy tour of the Icelandic Highlands, you'll travel to the Highlands and explore before an overnight stay.
Your tour starts when your driver picks you up from your accommodation in Reykjavik or Hvolsvollur. Your driver will take you to base camp in South Iceland, where you'll meet your expert English-speaking guide and the other guests on the tour before heading to your destination in the Highlands.
The experienced tour guide will give you a thorough briefing and tutorial on how to drive the buggies. This tour is suitable for beginners. You don't need to have driven a buggy before, but you do need an international driver's license.
You can choose whether you'd like to ride your buggy by yourself or with another guest. You can take it in turns to drive.
When you're ready, you'll set off on your adventure. Buggy tours in Iceland offer an adventurous way to explore the country's rugged landscapes. These guided off-road trips take you across black sand beaches, lava fields, and mountain trails, often with views of glaciers or volcanoes.
